Why use an Ozone generator in the car?

What is Effective Ozone Odour Cleaning?
An ozone machine works by generating ozone gas, which is made up of three oxygen atoms (O3). This gas is a powerful oxidizing agent, meaning it reacts with other substances it comes into contact with.
Once released, the ozone molecules react with various organic and inorganic molecules present in the air or on surfaces. This reaction breaks down these molecules, effectively neutralizing odors, killing bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, and eliminating pollutants.
It’s important to note that ozone can be harmful to humans and animals if breathed in high concentrations, so ozone machines should only be operated in unoccupied spaces or with proper ventilation. Additionally, after ozone treatment, it’s necessary to allow time for the ozone to dissipate and revert back to oxygen before reoccupying the treated area.
How we clean your car – Step by step
Effective Ozone Odour Cleaning – Performing an ozone car treatment using an ozone generator should be done carefully and following proper procedures. Here are the steps to follow:
We Place the Ozone Generator
Firstly we place the ozone generator in the centre of the car’s cabin, ensuring it’s secure and won’t tip over during the treatment. Then we close all the windows and doors, leaving a small gap for the generator’s hose to be inserted.
We Set the Timer
Then we set the ozone generator’s timer based on the size of the car and the generator’s capacity. We follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully to ensure the generator is set up correctly.
Let’s start the Treatment
We start the ozone generator and let it run for the recommended amount of time. During this time, ozone gas will circulate throughout the car’s cabin, neutralizing odours and purifying the air.
We Air Out the Car
After the treatment is complete, we will and must wait at least 30 minutes after opening all the car’s doors and windows and letting the car air out. This will allow the ozone gas to dissipate and fresh air to circulate throughout the cabin.
